Warm up your winter with an evening of good food and good wine at our Winter Reds Dinner. Watkins has teamed up with the culinary genius Josh De Haas, Chef at Bar Lune, where you will enjoy a three-course feast with 4 paired wines to be held at Watkins Cellar Door. Kicking off at 6pm on Saturday, 27th July.

Sparkling Blanc de Blancs upon arrival.
Starter: paired wine is the Watkins Heritage Series 2021 Chardonnay
  • Three cheese stuffed zucchini flowers, hummus, pesto, lemon dressing
or
  • Western Australian scallops, porcini butter, herb, lemon crumbs
Main: paired wine is a choice of the Watkins Heritage Series 2018 Shiraz or Watkins Kinship Series 2022 Grenache
  • Roasted lamb rump, baba ganoush
or
  • Chargrilled sous vide chicken maryland, sauce gribiche
Sides:
  • Roasted cauliflower, hazelnut, celery, feta, herb
  • Crispy fried crushed potatoes, citrus salt
  • Chickpea, pumpkin, green bean salad
Dessert: paired with Watkins Tawny Port
  • Selection of local and imported cheese with matching condiments.

- The menu is based on an alternate drop of dishes selected at random. The kitchen cannot take requests.
- This is a ticketed event and there is a limited number of seats available for this dinner. If you do not have a ticket, we cannot admit entry to the dinner.
- Tickets will be on sale until 15th July or until sold out, whichever comes first.
